These high strength low alloy steels have enhanced resistance to general atmospheric corrosion by weathering as commonly encountered in rural, urban, marine and industrial environments. Yoloy Grade V and Yoloy Grade IV pipe is supplied in Class 4.

This pipe is furnished in the following types of manufacturing processes:

• Yoloy-Grade IV Type E, Electric Resistance Weld
• Yoloy-Grade IV, Type F, Continuous Weld
• Yoloy-Grade V, Type S Seamless

All types are commonly furnished in single & double random lengths.
All types may be furnished with hot-dipped galvanized coating of zinc.
Plain end or threaded and coupled available.

Yoloy pipe is weldable by all common methods without special precautions. Various electrodes may be employed depending upon the intended application as follows:

Non-critical work	AWS E 6018
High strength structural	AWS E 7018
Critical work	AWS E 8018 B or C

Yoloy welding fittings are readily available from fittings manufactured in a full range of sizes (1/2" - 16") and types. These include elbows, returns, tees, reducers, caps, slipon and weldneck flanges.

Forges Yoloy steel threaded or socket weld fittings can be manufactured to your specifications. Cast, malleable and ductile iron fittings are commonly used with threaded Yoloy pipe.

When so specified, Yoloy pipe can be furnished with beveled, grooved square ends and/or threaded ends.

Yoloy grades are manufactured in accordance with ASTM Specification A-714. Yoloy Grade V is seamless and Yoloy Grade IV is a continuous weld and electric resistance weld. This specification covers seamless and welded high strength low alloy steel pipe intended for pressure piping service and other general purpose where savings in weight or added durability are important.
